Marking the Anniversaries of Seven Macedonian Films' Premieres.
A second event (27–31 October) through which the Macedonian Cinematheque will mark 27 October, UNESCO’s World Day for Audiovisual Heritage, is a series of screenings featuring seven iconic films — milestones in the development of Macedonian cinema — commemorating the 70th, 60th, 50th, 45th, 30th and 20th anniversaries of their premieres. They are Night of the Wolves (1955) directed by France Štiglic, Days of Temptation (1965) directed by Branko Gapo, Misery (1975) directed by Kiril Cenevski, The Lead Brigade (1980) directed by Kiril Cenevski, Times, Waters (1980) directed by Branko Gapo, Angels of the Dumps (1995) directed by Dimitrie Osmanli and Contact (2005) directed by Sergej Stanojkovski.
