Pomen in čar amaterskih filmskih zakladov ob svetovnem dnevu avdiovizualne dediščine.

Ob praznovanju 20. obletnice Svetovnega dneva avdiovizualne dediščine vas Arhiv Republike Slovenije in Slovenski filmski arhiv, vabita na predstavitev in projekcijo amaterskih filmov iz začetkov slovenske kinematografije, s katerim bomo obeležili pomen varovanja, ohranjanja in dostopnosti naše skupne avdiovizualne preteklosti. Svetovni dan avdiovizualne dediščine (angleško World Day for Audiovisual Heritage), ki ga obeležujemo 27. oktobra, je razglasil UNESCO leta 2005. Njegov namen je ozaveščanje o ranljivosti filmov, radijskih in televizijskih oddaj, zvočnih posnetkov ter drugih avdiovizualnih gradiv ter spodbujanje njihovega arhiviranja, digitalizacije in dostopnosti za prihodnje generacije. Filmske projekcije bodo potekale v ponedeljek, 27. oktobra 2025, ob 13. uri v véliki predavalnici Arhiva Republike Slovenije na Poljanski cesti 40 v Ljubljani. Bangladesh Film Archive to Celebrate World Day for Audiovisual Heritage 2025 with Month-long Classic Film Screenings.

As part of the global celebration of the World Day for Audiovisual Heritage 2025 , the Bangladesh Film Archive (BFA) has announced a special initiative to honor the nation’s cinematic legacy through a month-long classic film screening program to be held throughout November 2025. The program aims to highlight the importance of preserving and showcasing Bangladesh’s rare and historically significant films that have shaped the country’s cultural and artistic identity . Under this initiative, the BFA will screen a selection of rare and classic films from its collection and already restored, offering film enthusiasts, researchers, and the general public an opportunity to experience the nation’s rich audiovisual heritage on the big screen.
