Introducción a la Preservación Audiovisual.






Introducción a la preservación audiovisual está pensado para quienes recién comienzan en el área o ya trabajan con colecciones audiovisuales. A lo largo de las sesiones, quienes participen aprenderán a reconocer e identificar los principales formatos analógicos, comprender factores de riesgo y medidas básicas de conservación, y adquirir conocimientos fundamentales sobre preservación digital, combinando contexto histórico, técnico y consejos proveniente de la experiencia de los instructores. No se requieren conocimientos previos. Se recomienda contar con ejemplos propios de materiales audiovisuales para relacionarlos con las sesiones. 
Sesión 1: Identificación de Formatos Audiovisuales. 
Sesión 2: Evaluación y Planificación con Colecciones Audiovisuales. 
Sesión 3: Introducción a la Preservación Digital.

Intro to Audiovisual Preservation: A three part webinar series designed for those who are just starting out in the field as well as for those already working with audiovisual collections. Throughout the sessions, participants will learn to recognize and identify the main analog formats, understand risk factors and basic conservation measures, and acquire fundamental knowledge of digital preservation, combining historical and technical context with practical advice drawn from the instructors’ experience. No prior knowledge is required. Participants are encouraged to bring examples of their own audiovisual materials to connect them with the sessions.

Conferencia de prensa abierta sobre el rescate del Patrimonio Audiovisual de Mar del Plata.

Con motivo del Día Mundial del Patrimonio Audiovisual, la Dirección de Promoción Cultural y la Biblioteca “Leopoldo Marechal” del EMTURyC , junto a la Asociación Amigos del Archivo Museo Histórico “Roberto T. Barili”, invitan a una conferencia de prensa abierta a la comunidad para informar los avances en la preservación del material audiovisual perteneciente a la colección fílmica custodiada en Villa Mitre. El 27 de octubre se celebra el Día Mundial del Patrimonio Audiovisual , una iniciativa de la UNESCO. En Mar del Plata por primera vez se llevará a cabo una actividad para sumarse a esta conmemoración mundial, en la cual se informará sobre la identificación, inspección y datación de diferentes materiales fílmicos conservados en la Villa Mitre, sus posibilidades de digitalización y acceso público. Pomen in čar amaterskih filmskih zakladov ob svetovnem dnevu avdiovizualne dediščine.

Ob praznovanju 20. obletnice Svetovnega dneva avdiovizualne dediščine vas Arhiv Republike Slovenije in Slovenski filmski arhiv, vabita na predstavitev in projekcijo amaterskih filmov iz začetkov slovenske kinematografije, s katerim bomo obeležili pomen varovanja, ohranjanja in dostopnosti naše skupne avdiovizualne preteklosti. Svetovni dan avdiovizualne dediščine (angleško World Day for Audiovisual Heritage), ki ga obeležujemo 27. oktobra, je razglasil UNESCO leta 2005. Njegov namen je ozaveščanje o ranljivosti filmov, radijskih in televizijskih oddaj, zvočnih posnetkov ter drugih avdiovizualnih gradiv ter spodbujanje njihovega arhiviranja, digitalizacije in dostopnosti za prihodnje generacije.
